Joel and Alison's Excellent Adventures Part 2

Natalie and I spent the evening in Kanab, and I took her to a favorite restaurant – The Rockin’ V.  Never disappoints!

After viewing the California Condors at Marble Canyon, Natalie and I headed south to Phoenix. I was not looking forward to the projected 105 degree temps, but the navigator did well, agreed to my Catherine Wheel Spotify list, and the drive was pleasant!

Once we got to ASU, everything went smoothly. Xavier did a good job pre-packing, Natalie did all the heavy lifting and coordination and I basically stood in the way and did little!

I had contemplated renting an Airbnb by the Desert Botanical Gardens for a couple days to do some hiking but am glad that idea was fleeting – it was supposed to get up to 110 degrees over the next few days. UGH
