On the way home, I surprised Mom and took her to the Westport Winery/Sea Glass Grill. Seafood again, and it was excellent. They also had a distillery and a great gift shop, a mermaid museum, and were hosting the upcoming Mermaid Festival. It’s a bit of a detour, but a great stop.
Mom did a great job putting together an itinerary for the entire 6 days I was visiting. On Friday, after her annual wellness check (which she passed with flying colors), it was off to the Pro Club for pedicures.
We then headed to Issaquah for another great dinner ( and caramel apple tart – Diabetes ticker +3.)
